Erika Owens has held a number of senior leadership roles in both the Victorian Public Sector and the Not-For-Profit Sector, overseeing large teams as well as heading up a volunteer workforce of 5,000 volunteers across Victoria’s criminal justice system during her career. This includes organisations such as Relationships Australia Victoria, the Victorian Community Council Against Violence and several roles across carried portfolios of the Department of Justice and Regulation.
Erika has expertise in stakeholder management, provision of strategic, operational, and business services, as well as policy and program reform. Together with Erika’s success in business development and passion for people development, she is driving Crime Stoppers Victoria to meet its strategic goals.
Erika’s educational qualifications include an Executive Masters of Public Administration and Graduate Diploma in Arts (Criminology), both from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts (Sociology and Australian Cultural Studies) from Victoria University.
